Apple iPad 2 having a 9.7 inch and 1024 x 768 displays with couple
of new cameras is slimmer or even faster version of first generation device. This
tablet is only 0.35 inches width wise as opposed to the original iPad being one
half inch of width. Since there is a rumor of third generation device to be
unveiled on March 7th, the question is “does the new version have
the required capabilities to get new customers to the brand? “.
When
Steve Jobs unveiled Apple iPad , this
was amazingly thinner compared to the thin iPhone 4. The most dramatic change
is the weight. At 680 grams, the Generation 2 is 80g lighter compared to first
one. From a designer’s viewpoint, the iPad 2 significantly increased the criterion
with a beautiful appealing computer machine. Anyone who has first generation device
know that there were no short cuts taken in the design aspect, its third generation
is expected to take it to another level.
For
now we quite simply think that the iPad 2 is the best tablet available until
date, but to say anything more, we will have to wait until upcoming unveiling
of third generation device. The iPad
cost of latest generation would defiantly be dependent on its add-on
features to existing versions.
